Lenny Stone - Band Manager and Managing Director of Stone Records
Since the passing away of his father, Lenny has taken over Stone Records a successful independent label who has produced mostly classical music and jazz, Lenny, who knows nothing about music let alone putting a band together has an idea is to take the company into a new direction, his idea is a new rap band to break the stereo typical image that rap is associated with. The end result 'Band Edge' a useless creation that simply has no possible way of making it!...or do they?
Graham Boy - AKA Phat Boy
Aged 25, works as an aerobics instructor aiming at fat reduction including water aerobics and general fitness (although looking at him you would NEVER think so). Due to his size, Graham is unconfident when meeting new people, but deep in his heart loves to perform. When teching aerobics he lets loose as he feel comfortable in his own environment, and deep down he really does want to be a performer. He loves dancing, but loves food more!!! Has he got the confidence to make it in the band????
Charlie Maitland - AKA (Doesn't have one!)
That's the whole point as he always says 'when do i get a nick name? everyone else has one'. He lives with his mum in a dingy council flat top floor, and works on his pirate radio station with Leroy..both on the dole! He is a fiesty person, who can lose it at any moment, but rap is his life. He is not a very bright spark, but thinks he is and tries his best.
Chang Wong -AKA Ping Pong
Aged 24 works in Chinese restaurant with his family, loves rap music, but cant pronounce the letter 'r' properly. He is a very happy character who is enthusiastic about everything. His family are not happy about his rap ambitions, but Chang rebels and continues with it anyway!
Danny Devillia - AKA Div
Aged 25, doesn't work, has loads of money though family inheritance, looking for fame and women are the only reason why he has joined the band, plus the added bonus of being on reality TV programme has helped his popularity. He is the person you love to hate. He has joined the band with the ultimate ambition of going solo one day. To describe him as arrogant would be an understatement!!Wilfred Hilingdon -AKA- Paranoid Leroy
Aged 25 comes from a very posh family, but Leroy has an identity problem, he thinks he is black, wears ghetto clothes, and has dreadlocks, he prefers to be called Leroy and spends most of his time running the pirate station with Charlie. Leroy & Charlie are the modern day Laurel and Hardy, but Leroy is hiding a secret from everyone, even Charlie.....But what could it be???
